Hey, I'm not dead! Isn't that great? ... Yeah, I know. Sorry. I won't promise to be back more, because I honestly don't know what the future holds. There WILL be another in the near future, and I will likely be holding a stream.

This came up in a discussion, and I just love Carl Sagan too much to say no. Combine with filly Twilight, and I'm head over heels. My only regret in regards to Sagan is that I was to young to appreciate him when he was alive.

We wish to pursue the truth no matter where it leads. But to find the truth, we need imagination and skepticism both. We will not be afraid to speculate, but we will be careful to distinguish speculation from fact. The cosmos is full beyond measure of elegant truths; of exquisite interrelationships; of the awesome machinery of nature.

No wonder Twilight have such an thirst for knowledge and science, she had pretty much the best teacher ever to inspire a young mind to stretch it's wings. Luna would adore pony Sagan.

Lovely picture; the great starry background, the adorable face on filly Twilight so full of wonder and awe, the reflection of the sky in the telescope and the tribute to Carl Sagan. Awesome.

Oh you hit the nail on the head with that ("I was too young to appreciate him while he was alive") I feel that way everyday.

As soon as I saw that pony on EQD I knew it was Dr. Sagan :3 Wonderful job!

This is just… I have no words.
The concept itself is touching, and the art no less so.

One thing though, and I don't mean this as criticism, but I feel like a stylized dandelion seed would have also made an appropriate cutie mark.
